"YOU ME HER" (Season 5)  -  Television Series

Cast:  Greg Poehler (Welcome To Sweden), Rachel Blanchard (Snakes On A Plane, Fargo, Peep Show), Priscilla Faia (Rookie Blue), Melanie Papalia (The Newsroom, Suits)

Network:  DirecTV/AT&T Audience Network

Production Company:  eOne Television

Status:  Post Production

SYNOPSIS:    YOU ME HER pays homage to classic romantic comedy even while contorting it into “polyromantic comedy” - Season 1 began as an impulsive  “date” between the suburban husband Jack and neophyte escort Izzy that spun into a whirlwind scenario that included Jack’s wife Emma. Season 2 saw the “throuple” come out and try to merge their lifestyle into a normal life pattern, but running through a gauntlet of emotions and societal opinions, they found themselves at differing crosswalk of life, with one of them moving on to new opportunities and a new city. Season 3 discovered Jack, Emma and Izzy all conflicted – emotionally, about each other, about their own lives – and discover that love just might help them conquer their own choices and options, including marriage, children, career and home.  In season 4, the throuple settled back into the ‘burbs to live a tweaked version of the conventional about-to-be “married with children” life, while their best friends’ lives are simultaneously turned upside down. As the accidental polyamorists” try to jam a triangular peg into a round-hole world - they break the neighborhood and their peculiar romance, but figure out how to bring it all back together – finally culminating into a future of tri-custody and harmony…  except…  as Izzy balks…  SEASON 5: finds Izzy exploring what she really wants from life – where she fits in, as Jack and Emma move into parenthood also wondering… With Nina and Shaun having connected, the unexpected pairing of Izzy’s father and the neighborhood’s nemesis turned sweet friend – everyone heads to another union and reunion – will things finally go as hoped and planned, or does life continue to laugh at our favorite throuple?
